Rudy and I have an unplanned, unscripted, unedited discussion about the closure of Misery Tourism, our personal frustrations, and our plans for the future.

Thank you to both of you for the work that you have done. I really appreciated Misery Tourism as an outlet. You had a clear literary aesthetic, even if it was broad, and I'm sorry to hear that the criticism you've taken to promote the writers that you have has been so detrimental. Modern media spaces don't support experimentation, which is wild given where they've come from. For what it's worth, I think that a print platform is a good avenue to investigate, especially given the community that you have. If The Daily Drunk can fund anthologies and print works, I don't see why you can't. Don't be afraid to appeal to community either for the skills you need to bring your ideas to fruition :)
But, even if nothing comes of these ruminations, thank you for giving so many writers an outlet for their work. Your curation and enthusiasm are unrivalled.

The only option now is to start a board game company.
Looking forward to peeking under the skirts of two Millennial powerhouses in their generational journey of slouching towards Bethlehem.
